The sinking feeling of returning to the spot in which you parked your car and finding it vacant is one we never want you to experience. But if the worst happens and we don’t already know about it, with CarCom installed you can call the CarCom Assistance Centre and the Operator can start to locate and track your vehicle. Once the vehicle has been located, and the Police instruct us to do so, we can send a message to the vehicle to immobilise it as soon as the ignition is switched off.
Your car is parked on a dark road
You’ve been invited out for the evening, but the area to which you are driving isn’t that well known to you. Once you’ve parked your car and walked away, until you return you can’t be sure that it’s safe. With CarCom you can rest easy knowing that you have done all you can to stop a thief attempting to steal your vehicle. If your vehicle is stolen, we can alert you immediately and track and locate your vehicle.
Need help Fast
Other situations might find you or other road users in need of assistance from the Emergency Services. By pressing the SOS button your location will be transmitted to the CarCom Assistance Centre, and a voice call initiated. In this way you will be able to communicate your requirements to the Operator who can then transfer your call to the Police if need be.
Location Unknown
Have you or your family ever tried to explain to your roadside assistance provider exactly where you are? This can be particularly difficult if it is dark or you are travelling in an unfamiliar area. CarCom can help in this situation and avert a potentially distressing situation from occurring. By pressing the “Assistance” button you will be connected to the CarCom Assistance Centre Operator who will connect you to your roadside assistance provider and pass them details of your vehicle’s location. By receiving correct vehicle location information, the roadside assistance provider can send help directly to the vehicle, getting you back on the road as quickly as possible.
Kids sometimes don’t realise
Kids love to help their parents, but sometimes accidents happen - carrying things that are too heavy, and dropping them, shutting the doors or the boot of the vehicle and not realising that the keys are still inside. So what can you do? Well, we might not be able to help with the broken eggs, but with CarCom installed and one quick call to the CarCom Assistance Centre along with the provision of your security password will have your vehicle’s central locking unlocked in no time.
Drained of Power
There’s nothing more frustrating than when you get back to your car to find it won’t start. You may have left your cabin light on, or the stereo or maybe even the head lights. With CarCom, as soon as the battery charge starts to run down, a message will be sent directly to your mobile phone.
