According to the National Motor Vehicle Theft Reduction Council, 85,000 motor vehicles are stolen in Australia each year equating to one vehicle being stolen every six minutes.
If an intruder breaks in to your vehicle and your alarm is activated, the CarCom system’s tracking service is initiated and if necessary the Police can be contacted to apprehend the thief and assist with the recovery of your vehicle. Additionally as soon as the alert is received at the CarCom Assistance Centre, the Operator can make a telephone call through to the vehicle. This can prove to be a great surprise to the intruder, and potentially disconcerting enough to halt their attempt to steal the vehicle.
A further benefit of CarCom is that at the press of a button, you can be connected to the Emergency Operator if you ever find yourself in an emergency situation. Once the call has been connected to the CarCom Assistance Centre, the added peace of mind of knowing that someone knows exactly where your vehicle and you are can help to make a difficult situation easier to manage.
